Kapama Private Nature Reserve
Kapama Private Nature Reserve covers 30,000 acres of undisturbed bushveld in prime “Big Five” — Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard — country. The reserve enjoys panoramic views of the nearby Drakensberg Mountain range and the area supports a wide variety of game including elephants, buffalo, rhino, and a large population of giraffe, impala, blue wildebeest and kudu. Predators include lion, leopard, cheetah and spotted hyena. A small permanent water source lies just beyond Kapama River Lodge perimeter fence attracting animals like antelopes, elephant and buffalo.
